How do I get a quote?
To request a quote please use the contact us page or send us through an email at office@caledcontainers.com.au. To allow us to provide a quote as efficiently as possible, please include as much detail as you can – quantity required, intended use of the product, delivery address, is it a single or ongoing order, product code as well as an email address for us to forward the quote to. Please note that we do not provide quotes over the phone.
If I am unsure of the product I require but have an intended use, can you help me figure out the best solution?
We have a vast knowledge of which products are best suited for packaging in terms of weight, volume and presentation. Certain good, such as chemicals and dangerous goods, must be packaged under the Australian Standard as these may cause various packaging materials to breakdown over time. Allowing us to know the intended use of the product is vital to ensuring we can advise the correct product for your needs.
Why do I need to provide a postcode?
Most customers require us to organise delivery via a freight company. To price the freight and find the best freight provider, we require a delivery address with a postcode.
What quantity do I need to be looking to purchase (part cartons, packs, or full pallet loads)?
Each of our products is packaged and sold in different quantities. Generally, we sell products by pallet quantity. If the product you are requiring is not in stock, there will be a minimum order quantity (MOQ). If you require less than the MOQ or the pallet quantity, we can provide you with the details of one of our distributors. Our distributors are located all over Tasmania and will sell products by carton/pack.
What is the wait time between when I place an order and when I can expect to receive the goods?
If the product that you are after is in stock, we will send through a quote within 24 hours. If the quote has been accepted/paid by midday we can usually get the goods dispatched the same day with next day delivery (depending on location).
If the product that you require is not in stock, we ask for a 10 business day lead time before we can dispatch the goods.
Why do I need to reference a product code when asking for a quote?
Many of our products have similar descriptions but are designed for various purposes or made from different materials. It is important that you provide a product code to ensure that the correct item is ordered. This helps to avoid extra charges associated with returning incorrect items and delivering correct items. Our website has images of all our products along with their associated product code for your reference.
Can I call and get a quick price over the phone?
We do not provide quotes over the phone. This reduces the risk of any incorrect pricing/products being given. We require an email address to send a quote through to. Normally you will receive a quote with 24 hours.
Should I provide a business name when requesting a quote/placing an order?
Whether you are doing business with us for the first time or a regular customer it is important that you provide us with a business name so that we can provide you with the best possible price.
Are our products recyclable?
We are committed to recycling and are a signatory to the Australian Packaging Covenant. All of our products are recyclable but please check with your local Council to determine what recycling systems are set up in your area.
Can I just pop in and pick up the product?
Factory door sales have to be pre-arranged, both to ensure stock is available and to avoid any delays as orders are packed in order of receipt. When you email an order please indicate if you plan on picking up your products and we will advise an appropriate collection time.
